Zack,
I am good. Been married for almost 7 months.
I'm in Durham and I go to the Summit church, so I stay pretty busy there :)
I'm getting to know Kristen Sorrell a little because we both work at RTI

I have tried the Facebook/MySpace thing, but those seem to either take too much effort or the content becomes stale and outdated. It was awesome when I first signed up for those. I loved finding people that I knew on there and seeing what they were up to. Then, once I had found all the people I could, I kind of lost interest. There's a chance the same thing may happen with Twitter, but since the content is always fresh, it may keep my interest.

Being able to Twitter from your phone is definitely a cool thing, especially for us dorks of the world. Some other cool thing are that you can Twitter from your IM account and you can have your Facebook status updated with what you are Twittering. The integration is neat.

It's also possible that you could develop a man-crush on "some random guy who you’ve never met just because he displays his whole life online”.

Lauren,

I totally hear you. I watched people talk about twitter for at least 6 months before I drank the koolaid. I figured it was just another social networking thing to waste my time...

And it kind of is... but it's really fun. I get a kick out of it.

And, if you follow the right people, you can really learn a lot. For example, I wrote an email this morning to a photographer I found on twitter asking for some tips about starting a website...

On a completely unrelated note, how the heck are you? Are you in Raleigh? We'll have to catch up!

Ha, I use Facebook to keep up with my friends.
It may be a little silly, but I don't know if I want my husband interested in other people's lives like that, not unless they are people that he knows personally. That being said, I think he dose the Twitter thing a lot and is excited that he can do it on his iPhone

Couldn't agree more, Shannon.

Twitter is definitely the grown-up buddy list stalker replacement...

To me, Twitter is reminiscent of something a lot of people did in their college years. Everyone had an AIM account. Thus, everyone had a gazillion "buddies". There's no way you can keep up with them all.

So, instead of talking to them, you would take your mouse, hover over their screenname and read their away messages. That way you could keep up with what's going on in their lives with little actual contact. Sure, occasionally, you would actually IM them, but for the most part, you would just stalk them.

To me, Twitter is pretty much the same thing.

I'm suspicious of twitter.... my husband is into it, but why does he want to talk to people he's never met before. Most of it is about macheist, but still
